We will be celebrating BANG's 72nd anniversary in Detroit, Michigan from
September 14 - 17, 2015!
Our hosts will be Jennifer Wilson, Yolanda & Jim Klein (EN 64-66) and Paul Schramm (ET 70-71).
Reunion headquarters will be at the Embassy Suites Troy, 850 Tower Drive, Troy, Michigan 48098.
TRAVEL: There is an AMTRACK train station in Troy five miles from the hotel. If traveling by air its Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). NOTE: The hotel is about 40 miles from the airport. DO NOT take a cab! Cab fare is $150 each way! Use a rental car or better yet Jim Klein is providing a free shuttle service for BANG shipmates to and from the airport if you inform us of your arrival and departure flights on your reservation form and indicate you would like to use the shuttle.
Room Rates: SINGLE or DOUBLE $139.00 + tax (Rate good three days before and after reunion.)
This is an all two room suite hotel with complementary breakfast buffet including cooked to order eggs and omletes. There is also a daily complementary evening reception from 5:30 to 7:30 serving beverages (including alcoholic beverages). Parking is free.

In order to receive your special rate, individuals must indicate that they are with USS Bang Reunion The block of rooms will continue to be held until the cutoff date of August 30, 2015. Reservations received after August 30, 2015 will be provided at the group rate on a space available basis.******

The Bang Gang Reunion Committee oversees annual Reunions which are open to all shipmates who served aboard USS BANG (SS385) during the years of her commissioned service in the U S Navy, 1943 to 1972.
